The Nigerian Customs Service has seized a ruck-load of banned drugs including tramadol and other illicit drugs worth N5 billion in Lagos.
A spokesman for the service Joseph Attah, while speaking with newsmen said the Comptroller-General of Customs Strike Force in Zone ‘A’, stumbled on the contraband.

According to him, smugglers are of the opinion that the festive period is a time for merriment and less vigilance, but officers intercepted the truck which the smugglers tried to smuggle from Lagos to other parts of the country.
Attah added that a suspect who happened to be the truck driver has been arrested and in custody for judicial process.
